13 min 4 servings easy
Grilling peaches concentrates their natural sweetness and adds a smoky char that is absolutely divine. The high heat caramelizes the sugars on the cut surface, creating a jammy, almost candy-like texture. A sprinkle of cinnamon sugar and a scoop of ice cream is all you need for an effortless, elegant dessert.

Instructions

1

Prep the peaches

Cut peaches in half and remove the pit. Brush the cut sides with melted butter. Mix sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg, then sprinkle over the cut surfaces.

2

Grill cut-side down

Place peaches cut-side down on a grill over medium-high heat (400°F). Grill for 4-5 minutes without moving until deep grill marks form and the sugar caramelizes.

Pro tip: Choose peaches that are ripe but still firm — overripe peaches will fall apart on the grill.

3

Flip and warm

Flip to skin side down and grill 2-3 more minutes until the peaches are heated through and slightly softened.

4

Serve

Place peach halves on plates, cut-side up. Top each with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of honey. Serve immediately.

Serving Suggestions

Serve immediately while the peaches are warm and the ice cream is just beginning to melt into the caramelized surface.
