Browsing data collected automatically: pages viewed, approximate region, browser and device type, referring site, and time on page.

Data you provide: if you create an account, your email address and display name. If you post a comment, save a favourite or like a recipe, that action is stored against your account. If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address.

We never ask for or store payment information. We do not sell your personal data.

This site is funded by advertising. We use Google AdSense, which places cookies to serve ads and measure their performance.

Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your prior visits to this or other sites. Personalised advertising can be turned off at any time via Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com), and cookies generally can be blocked or deleted in your browser settings.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which recipes are useful and where readers come from. It records aggregate usage, not your identity. IP addresses are handled by Google and not exposed to us.

Google (AdSense, Analytics) as described above; Supabase, which hosts our database and account system; and our hosting provider, which processes standard server logs. Each acts as a processor for the purposes listed here and nothing else.

You can ask us to show you the personal data linked to your account, correct it, or delete it entirely, including your comments and saved recipes. Deleting your account removes that data permanently.

If you are in Quebec, Canada, you have these rights under the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25). If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have equivalent rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
