Instructions
Season the beef
Mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Divide into 4 equal portions.
Form the bowls
Wrap the bottom of a beer can or drinking glass with plastic wrap. Press each beef portion around the bottom and sides of the can, forming a cup shape about 3/4 inch thick. Carefully slide off and place on a tray.
Pro tip: Keep the walls of the cup an even thickness so they cook uniformly on the grill.
Preheat and grill
Preheat grill to 375°F for indirect cooking. Place the burger bowls open side up on the grill over indirect heat. Close the lid and cook for 15 minutes until nearly done.
Stuff and melt
Fill each burger bowl with crumbled bacon, diced jalapeños, and a generous pile of shredded cheddar. Close the lid and cook for 5 more minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
Serve
Carefully transfer each stuffed burger bowl to a toasted bun. Add lettuce and tomato on top. The bowl shape keeps all the toppings contained.
